I doubt it. Michael Carcone, Yan Pavel Laplante, Marco Roy. All having pretty bad seasons this year. The odds are kind of against him.

The ECHL Aces r holding their own.
Call ups effect them like they do Utica.

I was literally just looking at the stats. 9th in the league not bad.
Danny Monyihan is having a decent first season down there.
Dane Fox anyone remember him, ppg player every season in the ECHL.

I watch the Aces & Comets a bit when i can.
Its not the greatest hockey but it is insightful nonetheless.

Our android tv box has a ton of hockey on it worldwide.
Only so much time in a day lol

I go see the Manitoba Moose on occasion. I wish that Utica would move so they would be in the same conference. For some stupid reason they don't play out of conference.

I would probably say that CHL is better hockey then the ECHL.

A UFA goalie like Gartieg can get in his games & work on a promotion to Utica.
Up to ECHL players to push for jobs in Utica if they want to get anywhere.

For entertainment for sure but its not much higher quality for all around play.
Most Jr's won't even make the ECHL & Europe is their best hopes for most.

There is a lot more free wheeling around in Jr.
Usually the better teams play a more all around game though.
Once they move on to pro leagues they find out offense is harder to come by.

There will always be late bloomers but its rare.

I simply tired of cable costs & sick of commercials.
Android tv is more freedom & less garbage.
Watch what we want when we want commercial free is much better.

I work with a gal who is friends with Jake Virtanen. She grew up with him and they are still in contact.

I asked her what was up with him and if he was a spoiled punk kid growing up. For what its worth, here's her response:

"He worked so hard to get where he is today but once he got there its kinda like he got too comfortable and lost that same fight/dedication he had when we were in school. He's always been well off. His moms a sweetie and they def do spoil him. His dad seems a little more solid on him though. But ya, he's young and started going out a lot and began "living in the fast lane." His snapchats were always of him out at clubs and doing stuff he got in poop for by his coaches."

The kid is 20 & hardly understanding of what it is to be an NHLer.
He knows what he knows from amateur hockey & is on a new learning curve.
Ppl who jump all over him hardly could make a case for themselves at his age.
Just don't let the media & internet become sooth. We r in no position yet to make waves & contend.

Go watch the Regina Pats if you get a chance this year and if you're into junior hockey, went and seen them last night in Saskatoon and theyre alot of fun to watch. Sam Steel just flys around the ice doing whatever he wants
