I read on bleacher report not sure how accurate this guy was that Vegas can make deals for prospects and picks so that they wouldn't pick that teams players in Expansion draft hard to determine know cause season is not over but wonder what they would have to give up not lose Grabs or Raanta .

Nash and hope he resigns the following year at 4 million per with us. Not sure Vegas would risk a 33 year old Nash for only 1 year over Raanta or Holden.

Grabners been great this year but cmon it's a no brainer that he's the one to be exposed

Fabbri and Shattenkirk for Stepan
Fabbri doesn't have to be protected at the draft which solves the issue of who to protect and we sign Shattenkirk after the draft so we don't have to protect him. Buyout Girardi, protect Staal McD Holden.

wouldn't do Day, no way, too much upside right now. Might say same with Graves. Maybe Kovacs and the 1 with Halverson. They like Copley but Binnington stock has fallen.

Not much trade value down in Hartford. Hrivik has the highest points/game and he cleared waivers 3 weeks ago... Hartford is awful - last in conference.

The more I'm reading about Shattenkirk the more I think we should stay away not only as a rental, but the 7 year contract he's going to want in the offseason. Viewed mostly as a 2nd pair defenseman. I see Staal/Girardi written all over that in 3 years.

Ya I'm not big on paying him what he's gunna want. Would rather get one of Ana's young dmen for Miller or someone else and have a cheaper option that will be in his prime with us
