I can see those types of moves being made. I'm sure if Hexy can package a 3rd round pick, Manning and maybe Raffl for a significantly better Dman than Manning, I think he could make a deal.

edit: That being said, I don't know if what I proposed will get you a significantly better Dman than Manning, but it can't hurt to ask around.

Statistically speaking in almost all categories they were leading going into thr third..I hsvent looked at how it finished but I don't remember the Habs dominating the third.

They were better but I don't think they were necessarily that good. Giroux's PP goal gets tipped a bit and Matt Read will never score another goal like that again. The defense was improved but it's hard to look any worse than they did in the Carolina game.

So basically....Manning?
