Could you please provide a scenario where a quiff might be useful?
Thanks. - As_I_See_It
Quiff is the funniest word in the English language.. Queef is the second. |

It's like a skunks defense but used against spatso |

Commentaries from a lot on here are pathetic.
Win 2 games = stanley cup here we come
Lose 2 games = leafs suck, team still needs 15y to make playoffs
What a bunch of whiners.
At least have a bit of consistency.
Also - it's time to trade Willie |

Very clever!
Leafs would be wise to stick with Shanaplan. |

I agree. They may make the playoffs still, they're still in a good position for that. At this point I don't think any of us will be shocked if they fade out of the picture though. We're conditioned for this. - daeth
They have 5 games in hand on Boston with only 3 points behind. The only team in the Atlantic that are close is Florida and the leafs have 2-3 games in hand on them. Tampa is pretty much out.
They are for sure in a great position still.
But it's up to them to turn this funk around. They could afford a little slip up with all the games they had in hand. But a loss to the Bruins would completely even the playing field.
It's a must win Saturday |

I do agree with you. A 3 game losing streak and the sky is falling. One guy was even talking about the draft lottery
We have a bi polar fanbase. If this happens for another 3-4 games then yes the sky is falling.
But every team goes through adversity and funks like this. The majority of teams will have gone though a 3 game losing steak in a season. It's about how you respond to that. So let's wait and see how they respond Saturday. |

The team has looked horrible the last two games, and didn't look particularly good against Philly. I think most Leaf fans have just been waiting for the I Toadaso moment, because we can't have nice things. Nor can we act appropriately when the team does have nice things. |

A 3 game losing streak is quite normal. Leafs fans way overreact to it.
Yes they have played horrible. And if they continue this they won't go anywhere.
But they played pretty damn good the 15 games before this. They are still in a better position than Boston and Florida for a playoff spot with the games in hand. The next 3 games will be a big test to see how this team responds to playing like that. We are going to really see who cares and who dosnt. |

With 8 or 9 rookies in the line up, how can we expect any different. I have been shock all season at the level Babcock can get from these kids.
Morning fellas, or afternoon by the time most get here these days..
Oh, I think Garnie called the score. Areshole.. |

StL has a good D
Leafs don't
Wasn't too hard too predict. |

Halfway through the game it was still tied at 1, when I went to bed.. Woke up to 5 (frank)in 1...
Ah well, the kids are going to lose a few too. |

It was more of the same... poor defensive coverage, lost in the neutral zone, Andersen looking almost Bernier-esque, Matthews invisible, Gardiner ...
Marner looked good though! |

yep...still think it's going to be tough for them to beat the top teams with that D.
Hopefully it's just a small blip... |

Yes, hopefully. I didn't expect them to be in the spot they are at this point anyway, to be honest. They are far above my expectations. |

Anyone with some common sense would understand they are kids and the learning curve in the NHL is rather large.
Of course there will be bumps.. and falls, and disappointment.... Long before there can ever be success. |

To be honest, the rookies aren't the disappointing ones... if anything, they're performing beyond expectations... It's the veterans that are shatting the bed... |

Streaks arent common at all in the NHL. Wether it comes to Wins and losses.. Players going on goal streaks.. Then goaless streaks.. This doesnt happen ever and we should be worried. |
