Road trip.....they'll be fine.
Maybe force them to do a small D deal if they are serious about trying to make the playoffs.

I asked this question the other night... and it was decided that it's a shrewd marketing ploy by People's because now they're selling two big diamond rings instead of one...

How come all the ones I see on TV are hot, but all the ones I know in reality are ? |

Why is everyone so concerned about Matthew vs Laine in points? If it's because of the Calder who cares. The first half was great but it's a blessing if we slow down in 2nd half and get a lottery pick. We still need pieces. While it would be great to make playoffs this year it will be better in the long run to get a lottery pick. And who knows with a little bit of luck we could end up in top 3 again. Nothing wrong with that. - Matthews_Auston
I would like to agree and have been on the Tank Nation train since years before it was a reality.
I have to disagree though. I think what is more important is that the team doesn't collapse and reinforce the idea that that is what this team is.
A playoff spot goes a long way towards changing the whole atmosphere around the club. Right now, they look every bit as bad as other years, including Andersen. Seems like Marner is the only one not disappointing recently. |

Yup. If they can get into a position to draft Foote, Valimaki or Heiskanen they'll be better for it in the long run.
Let this season pan out and then trade JVR for a dman after expansion. Go after Alzner or Shattenkirk and they'll be better balanced. |

I honestly don't think they'll have a choice. Their upcoming schedule is brutal. Clb, NYI x2, Bos, Ott, Dal, St Louis, NYR, Montreal, SJ and the game they always lose @Car.
Don't see many wins there unfortunately. |

Dallas has some pretty good players and Rielly out.
