This is just poop right now, could be the young guys hitting a wall. But the vets are invisible also. Kadri? Bozak? JVR? Uncle Leo? Where are you?
- Hockey_Reverend

JVR has soft hands but he's soft as poop on a hot summer's night... Bozak I'd punch in the ovaries if I passed him on the sidewalk... Kadri, not sure where he disappeared to... and Leo is just meh... he overachieved before

Smith is the worst player in the NHL

I don't think anyone could answer that question. Mayhe Lou has finally went senile

It would be nice if once in a while someone on Matthews line could do something with one of the fantastic plays he makes. At least he could pick up an assist now and then and not let the 0-for's pile up. Laine gets guys like Ehlers Schiefele Wheeler, who put up points on their own talent

This is the reason that if Laine ends up with more points, I could still see Matthews winning the Calder. Harder position and far worse line mates...

Serious question: after seeing the People's Jewellers commercial with the Lesbos several times... in a Lesbo relationship, who has to buy the engagement ring? Do they agree on it in advance?

Why is everyone so concerned about Matthew vs Laine in points? If it's because of the Calder who cares. The first half was great but it's a blessing if we slow down in 2nd half and get a lottery pick. We still need pieces. While it would be great to make playoffs this year it will be better in the long run to get a lottery pick. And who knows with a little bit of luck we could end up in top 3 again. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't think that matters. The Calder is going to Laine.

I still think Matthews was the right choice, and ultimately the more complete player, but he is now working on his second dry spell in half a season.

We can watch him and appreciate the effort and the skill. We can try to understand what it is like for a 19 year old rookie to be the top center. I don't think it matters.

Laine is pulling away, consistently and has played less games.

I asked this question the other night... and it was decided that it's a shrewd marketing ploy by People's because now they're selling two big diamond rings instead of one...

Also, I support gay marriage if both chicks are hot...
