my guess is bogo will still be here, or gorges

player x - risto
mccabe- bogo
guhle-fedun
nelson

or
mccabe-risto
guhle-player y
gorges-fedun
risto

if they move both gorges and bogo, bonus

Bare minimum one of them needs to be gone and replaced with a top 4 guy.

Top 10 pick, young forward and prospect or two should be offered up.

Last night we played a back and forth, opened up, offensive style, where Lehner was really good, but the Rangers easily could have hung 6 or 7 on us.

We don't have the horses. Plain and simple.

I might be in the minority here but I would like Murray to re-sign Kulikov right after the expansion draft. Offer him a 2 year contract at the same cap hit, $4.3M. Give him a year being totally healthy and I think he would be a solid contributor on the D.

And we could have put 6 or 7 on the Rags....but Lundqvist was really good

Last night was a good game for both teams plain and simple. We hung with a really good team that is definitely going to the playoffs...and that was with 5 d-men most of the game.

Murray on GR yesterday. "If we could add a guy that has won a lot, that has been in a winning organization and culture, that could rub off on our guys."

Sounds like he's ready to move on from Gionta and don't be surprised either at the deadline or in free agency he picks up a vet that fits that narrative.

We really did not have nearly as good of chances as they did. Grabner and Nash could have each had a hat trick.

Nash had 2 open nets where the puck rolled off his stick. They hit 3 posts.

Plus we were again, out shot.

The defense is a mess. More often than not we will lose games we decide to open up. Which is fine, that's what I'd rather watch, But Bylsma will try and get any points he can

Yes we are inconsistent...but that's not the point i'm trying to make. What I am saying is when we are playing sound, this team is capable of playing a up-tempo, back and forth game.

Thats my point though, this team is incapable of playing sound hockey for more than one or two games at a time. simply because it doesnt have the talent to do so.

And I believe it is the result of the coaching...not the talent. But at least we can agree they need to figure out how to be more consistent

3.3?

Both making too much for the bottom pair. similar production from Fedun at less than a mil.

Actually I don't think that's bad at all. Getting a #1 dman is not going to be easy and I doubt we get Shattrenkirk. If he doesn't go after Kulikov he might make a pitch in free agency again for Oduya. He needs vets with playoff experience and from a winning organization badly. Alzner and Stone are possible too.

Its probably both. I have hard time believing its bylsma's fault that most of our d-men can't make a first pass, cant keep up with fast forwards or make head scratching decisions like kulikov last night. Or Foligno's inability to handle a pass

Kulikov is not a bottom pair guy man come on. If you don't like him fine but he was a beast in the WC. All I want is same salary for him next year and healthy. I think he could be effective.
