Sabres take the Habs for a second straight game in Montreal 3 - 2. Gionta, Rhino (PP) and Oko. Lehner stands tall again.

Book it.

Brad May shaved his soul patch.

It was burtal.

He's wearing a lilac jacket. Sabres fans should take to the streets with dopey looking pink ear hats.

Can we just have one game without political bullpoop? You can go back to it after the game, but for just like 2 and a half hours let's stfu about it.

The Sabres roster is better than many teams out there, including the ones tied or above them. On paper, I would say the Sabres have a better roster than the Blue Jackets, Hurricanes, Devils, Red Wings, Maple Leafs, Senators, Bruins, and Islanders. There are 2 issues I have noticed with the Sabres. 1) Goaltending - I would take the goaltenders and goaltending coach (Arturs Irbe) that they had 2 years ago over the current ones. 2) Compete level - I have watched several games this year, and some games the Sabres look like they want to win, and other games they look like they are just "doing their job". I do not put any blame on Terry Pegula, I actually feel very bad for him. He has and does so much for the Sabres. Spent millions renovating the locker room and Arena, provides first class travel, entertains them and their families when in Florida. You can not ask for a better owner. He deserves more out of his players, coach, and GM. I like some of the moves TM made, however, I think he has a reputation of giving too much. I love O'Reilly, but he gave 4 first round picks for him. Same with the Kane/Bogo deal. Kane's trade value dropped after the locker room incident, and TM "threw in" a first round pick and Lemieux. Lastly was the Lehner deal. Again, he was injured and the Sen's had 4 goalies. Not only did TM give way too much for him, but he had blinders on and seemingly did not even consider the options of Talbot or Jones. Bylsma needs to find a way to get some chemistry and stay with it, and motivate his players. The players need to play to win every game. It's a game, they need to show the emotion that Jack and Ryan show when they loose. The players need to do more, simply put. They need to try harder. They need to increase their compete level. They need to do what it takes to win 60 minutes per game. TM needs to single out the guys who are going through the motions and get rid of them.

I'm using the next 3 weeks to revaluate Disco Dumbo.
a)If he keeps Foligno with Jack...I'm friggin done
If he moves a Ennis down with Jack then it's a plus.
They need to build Ennis' trade value big time before the off season and Jack is creating like crazy but Foligno can't finish.
B) does he open it up and play to our strength, or blindly continue to suppress O and park the bus..or go for it?
C) does he get the D involved as trailers for a multi-level attack...or continue to dump and chase while holding the D back.
D) use Nilsson at home to take advantage of his comfort level there

VIPbox is usually solid. Watching the game on it now. Their HD feeds are broken, but SD are fine.

six out of the last seven weeks he's used the same lines (save for carrier/Deslauriers) and it would've been seven but they kept ennis out of the second of a back-to-back
