They are doing profiles on the players I want during the first intermission. I'm pretty sure the 4 players I wanted won't be top 15 picks but will probably be somewhere from 20-50. Van currently only has 1 pick in there.

You may be undervaluing Hansen here. Plus Nuchuskin isn't a solid asset. He's unproven and unknown if he'll come back. Rights to a player not committed to playing in the NHL and unsigned is a gamble.

So a 1st from Dallas is a reasonable expectation for giving up 2 solid vet players for a bad contract poor playing one and unknown return of an unproven player. Though I wonder D may want Sbisa as well. That second may be appropriate then.

What this would mean if Canucks sold like this is giving up on the season and allowing Dallas to make a run for playoffs.

I'm hoping CLB sends us their second. With many GM's believing the draft not as good as a few of the previous years. Guys like Hansen should get 1st round picks. Burrows probably a 3rd. I don't expect any of the guys I like in this years draft to be anymore then middle 6 players at best. Would still need a couple legit first line talent.

Oh nobody...just Bo Horvat, Jared McCaan, Jake Virtanen and Hunter Shinkaruk.

I mostly just think its hilarious when fans talk about prospects they have only seen play once or twice at the world juniors or memorial cup and the odd clip on youtube.

I think Robert Thomas (London) and Jake Leschyshyn (Regina) would be great 2nd round picks if they landed there. Both are playing second fiddle on their teams. Most of the players above them will be moving on next season, so they should move up to 1st liners.
