I wasn't born yet, but yes, much worse, because it hit in the middle of a weekday, the wind, the temp was -7º with a windchill of -60º--70º, 30' drifts, roads going from clear to 6' of snow in an hour.

yes because when comparing eras you have to add in how the game was played.

Yeah, but Howe would also train in the modernera like modern era players. He was a natural athelete, how would adapt to modern techinques. So would Wayne. All those players would be better atheletes if they were born in 1990.

.922 career sv% is pretty amzing when you consider how many years he played past hs prime.

Hasek is unquestionably the best of all time, no doubts at all.
There are many great goalies to be sure, Roy among them...but they take a second to Dom.
You say the Habs were mediocre ... the Sabres had relatively few high skill players...they played a strong work ethic / team game however and relied heavily on Dom, not just had him on the team...and heavily relied is probably massively underselling his contribution...I'm surprised they didn't be put him up front on the PP...that's how much he was the key to that team.

Yes...but Roy actually won cups with mediocre teams...and went to the finals 3 times. There are plenty of doubts outside of Buffalo, Bubba.
