I have no issue if Bailey is more of a setup guy. I just have an issue with the avoiding contact and not giving a better effort in the d zone. - ses111
If he laid down by the point in the d zone, that would be 1,000 tomes more Eggert than he puts in now. He's Vrbata junior minus the scoring and talent. And don't start flinging monkey poop my way thinking I'm saying Vrbata is a scoring machine. He puts in the same effort on D that Bailey does but is offensively better than him. |

Cpt, he's the best option on this team right now. The first line is dominating and Baileys part of it. - nyisles7
It makes me nauseous just thinking Bailey on the 1st line. But it is working because JT is dragging him kicking and screaming. For once, a line combo is working and it's not getting broken up. Unlike that last coach this team had. What was his name? Bill? Todd? Menstrual cramp? Oh well, it'll come to me. |

Sorry I've been responding so late but I'm hammered at work and don't get a chance to respond as usual. Not that you guys miss my idiotic rants anyway.
Hopefully it'll slow down this week and I can get back into the groove. By the way, welcome back upstate. |

God all I said was the lines doing well and he's going to have a career year which are both true. I didn't say he was the permanent guy yet people on here lose their poop. On this team with this group of players he's the best fit as currently constructed. Trade him with hamonic for a legit guy or whoever. Staple made a good point though this team is 9th in goals scored so we may not see a trade |

I didn't say he was permanent on that line either. Matter of fact, I said that line was working so don't break it up. Do I want Bailey on that line? Hell no. But he's there and it's working for now. I'd like to see a line of Ladd, JT & Beau for more than 5 games and see how they do.
As far as a trade, I don't see it either unless it's picks and prospects that Snow doesn't give to poops about. I'd bet Barzal, Beau, Bellows, MDC Ho-Sang, Toews and a few others don't get moved as part of a package deal. We all now that Snow loves hoarding. |

As long as they keep winning, I'm not touching the 1st line. Hopefully they make the playoffs and if not, maybe Bailey shows enough this year to include him in deal in the offseason.
I do not see any big moves at the deadline. Hamonic better be traded in the summer in a package for a wing though. |

I wouldn't touch that line either. You know ole what's his name would've broken it up in a heart beat because it was working.
As long as Captain dumbfvck is GM, Hammer isn't going anywhere. Nor is anyone else. |

I take some hope that Cappy was finally fired and I'm trying to hold onto hope that a new GM will be named. I saw one of the posters on SNY mentioned from a reliable source that a new president will be named in 30 days with Isles ties whatever this is worth. I can see someone with Isles ties being new president, but I do not see it happening in 30 days. We shall see. |

If it's true they have Isles ties, I'd guess Patty. As long as it doesn't come from EK, it might have some credibility. |

EK has Duclair for Strome. I'm trying to figure out did he also mention Bishop with the Isles? UR would be very happy. |

I would also guess Patty, but I figure it would have happened by now? After what happened with the Isles and Buffalo, Patty would be way down on the list of Isles presidents for me. |

I agree. He would need to work his way back up slowly to be president IMO. I'm not giving him that job right off the back. He needs to prove he can work with people. |

Forget it. He suffered one too many serious concussions in his career. That leads to erratic behavior. The brain never fully recovers.... |

I would give it to Potvin over Patty and Potvin would not be my top choice either. I agree on Patty. Isles do not need anymore drama and need someone stable in that position. It does not have to be an ex-Isles person. |

Knew you would like that. I'll take one of those good Tampa forwards instead. The ones that can actually score when it counts like in the playoffs. - ses111
