Couldnt watch last night, but will check it out when I get home from work. Glad to see that Neuvy played well. Having both goalies playing well is a must if they want to get into the playoffs - BiggE
it was a somewhat boring game which was perfect for the Flyers. what I mean is they didn't allow the game to be a track meet which is how they needed to play it. they did a great job against Matthews |

Maybe in a year or two the Flyers will be able to go track meet style against them but right now they'd get slaughtered. Last night Nylander became their 5th rookie this year to hit the 10 goal mark. That's kinda scary for the future against them. |

Their #1 Dman just turned 20, let that sink in and just enjoy.
Yeah, it's not that impressive in and of itself being the #1 guy of this group, but this kid, at age 20, is a legit top pair Dman. That is incredible. - BiggE
that it what is beautiful....its not a case where AMAC is a #1 pair guy because there is no one else. this is a legit Provy being a #1 pair guy at the age of just turned 20. |

Other teams fans will think we're all crazy. But as they see him they'll figure out why we are all head over heels about the kid. I actually gasped last night when he flubbed a play because it's so out of the ordinary. It was a holy poop he made a mistake gasp. |

Factor in that his style of play appears to be a sustainable one which can age like a fine wine, the Flyers may have found a cornerstone for the next decade+! It's not fair to put those expectations on him but he's sure making it difficult not to. |

Offensively for sure but they are going to need to work on the defense now. and probably goaltending still. |

If by greatest wrestler of all time you mean who could sell the most tickets and merchandise then yeah, Hogan's the man. When it comes to ring psychology and actually working a match, I'd much rather watch guys like Flair, Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, and Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig. Those guys were masters of their craft. - BiggE
Got to disagree there...Hogan was just the right thing at the right time..He wasnt a stellar worker..wasnt great on the mic..was just there when needed. Sort of a blonder version of Cena..though Cena has put in some great matches actually over the past 2 years.
I can think of at least 10 wrestlers that were greater then he was in my opinion. - opeth_pa
I absolutely mean marketing/growing interest. He knew how to work the crowd, and he was able to endear himself to fans and non-fans. For me, as a kid, he was wrestling. And like I said, he is the main reason (though not the only one) that the WWF became what it was as well as the mega $$ contracts the current guys get. |

Kind of an interesting thing to think about. Next year the flyers could possibly have 3 or more rookies on the team. Lindblom might not start the season with the team, but I'd expect him to be up at some point. As well as two of Hagg, Sanheim, and Morin.
They are going to be a really young team next year. - johm12
Don't forget Myers. McKenzie was just saying after Rags game that he thinks Myers could do what Provy is doing this year next season and that he'll be NHL ready. But I'm sure 1 or 2 dmen at least will start with Phantoms. Should be a good competition come camp. |

I do remember him saying that in the game. My thinking is that they will give him a full year in the AHL mostly in part because it would be ridiculous to have 3 rookie defensemen playing together.

Agreed, Im looking forward to seeing who makes it out of the 4 to start the year. Would love to see Hagg or Morin get a couple of games this year. |

We should enjoy these last two months of having a teenager on the team cause I don't think we'll have another one for a while. |

Schenn has been playing some really good hockey the past few weeks now. He is the 2C and I have no issue with that. coots can stay on the 3C, would love to see lindblom take raffl's spot next year and move him to the third. Maybe Read gets dealt and Cousins can play with Coots and Raffl or leier. Thats a pretty good top 9. - ClaudeFather
Schenn gets less ice time and scores less points than Couturier when Schenn is playing as the "2C".
Last night it was especially noticeable with the "2C" getting 11 ES minutes and the alleged 3C getting 16. |

The Couturier line last night was without a doubt the best Flyers line last night, by a mile. |
