It was a poll question on TSN. Hypothetical, would leafs fan trade Marner for Laine.
Not sure why people get so upset over a hypothetical.

The other one was, would leaf fans sign off on a guaranteed 2nd wild card spot now....or ride out the rest of the season to see if they could finish higher?

Marner appears to be a P. Kane/Datsyuk hybrid and a local boy who is living his childhood dream and loving playing for this team... And he's handling the spotlight VERY WELL. He's also defensively responsible, something that Babs preaches.

Whereas Laine who is uber talented looks like somewhat of a one-dimensional player. What else is Laine contributing when he's slumping or shadowed and not scoring goals? Furthermore, the kid is a bit of a cocky load mouth whom Babs and Lou don't want and would get ROASTED by the Toronto media. Lastly, given the recent history between Matthews and Laine, is uniting them the best idea?

Well they actually found spanish coins and other small items. Each episode is simply a tease...but I still watch.

I remember getting into a debate here over how good Trouba is/was. Lately, he's been playing like a top pairing d-man in Winnipeg.

Sticking on the topic of d...I hate Tampa for trading Nesterov to the habs for so little. On the bright side, maybe that trade will impact trade values for d-men going forward.

Ya this season, we just need to upgrade Marincin and Hunwick. Shouldnt cost much.
Heck, even an upgrade on one of them would be nice.
