I say the best option is to at least keep him on his ELC.

Regardless of his 'Value' right now on the trade market, he definitely gives us 3 or 4 million more dollars worth of play when considering his cap hit.

Let's revisit when he becomes an RFA

I love the way this team competes. The hussel, speed forecheck. beautiful to watch.

You guys remember the Van fan who was advocating a trade that looked like Nylander, Nielsen, and a 1st for Tanev, Hansen and a middling pick? And then suggested Van fans might be unhappy with that package?

So to recap, Rookie on a 60 point pace + Team's best prospect + 1st round pick for Top four defenceman + Third line forward + 4th round pick.

And then Van still might be upset.
