You should research the history of the story before watching the show.. for hundreds of years people have been looking for treasure on an island in Nova Scotia.. but nothing was ever found of huge significance other than a poop ton of clues.. the theories at first seem rediculous but the more you look into it the crazier it gets.. basically the MikMaq worshipped a white dude who taught them how to fish etc.. and they carved a bunch of stones and poop for him.. the theory is that the white dude was Henry Sinclair who came over with the Knights Templar treasure and buried it on oak island.. they actually find lots of artifacts.
