Assuming we pick in the 10-16th range is trading our 1st a good idea for the right player? If yes whats in the package & who is targeted?
Discuss - Nighthawk
Not much to discuss as that is a god awful idea. |

Well, that's 25 goals that the Flames have gifted us this season so far... as we pass them in the standings. - boonerbuck

Trading our first is the worst thing we can do to the team for the next 15 years.
Just forget about trading the first - VANTEL
Simply not true. If iwe got an under 23-year-old proven forward in the deal (we'd have to add more) - then why not? Young and proven better then 15 overall

We are still a rebuilding team. We can't move anymore picks - CanuckDon
I agree but i never say never.
IMO we keep the pick & looks like a D.
Open to a Tanev/1st for Duchesne/2nd.
Only way i move the 1st is for a top grade C.
Hansen to the Habs for 2-2nds.
Only lose a F to LV if those scenarios played.
I'm still betting we keep our 1st. |

I can't circle jerk. I burn my hands last friday. Slipped on the ice at the camp fire. |

Who is this proven under 23 year old forward that teams are trying to trade? |

What was up with Landeskog's double handed double swing slash on Sutter in the dying minutes. It was one thing to break his stick in two on the first slash but then took an equally vicious two hander right up near his hands. It could have easily caused an injury. I wish the NHL would look into that play... but they won't.
Also, could Iginla look more like a sad sack just running out the games. Sad ending to a great career. |

In theory, yes... but can you give a practical example of where that trade was a success?

A little history about the Hockey Buzz picnic.
Be careful what you wish for.
The first year it was organized by Nucker . As you can guess he threw it at Wreck Beach . After we all stripped down Nucker commenced vomiting , It is believed that was the day Nucker jumped ship and used the Benning hatred as an excuse.
Year two it was suppose to be a bacon eggs and beer picnic , but Lefty ate all the bacon , so it turned out to be a beer and egg picnic and it took little time before the ground smelled like one big rotten fart.
The following year was at Stanley Park and Carol was going to be the guest speaker . Once people found out they had to be on their best behavior no one showed up , only Steaming Lombardi. Apparently he showed up in his Reno 911 cutoffs so Carol left.
This year we are organizing it for Saturday March 11 @ noon , tickets are 20 dolllars. It will be a three hour power point presentation given by Nuck4u on how to make a clear and direct post on HB without confrontation .
It will be followed by a two hour film presentation of Flames highlights , given by Redmile of the last forty years. So far he has found 3 minutes of footage.
If Don can get to more good posts we will ask him to take a day off from Walmart greeting to be the HB greeter but don't count on the chance that he may post two more good posts.
Enjoy and see you there. - VANTEL

Interesting. But I would keep the 1st and sub in Granlund. We would lose him to Vegas by getting Duch even by sending Hansen. But I don't think they want Tanev. They said young D like an OJ. So not worth it. |

They're doing OK. I stay up at night, stoke the fire. Go out and get supplies during the day. They're all kind of lost without TV/internet bu that's a good thing |

Sounds like camping came early out there. Be safe. Been there. At least you got the car to move about. Hope it passes before you know it. |
