i wonder what it will take to get radulov this summer.. i have a feeling people will still be scared to give him any term but he might get high dollar on a year or two. he would be a nice addition if he keeps this play up

Talent to be a playoff team. But the caveat is better coaching. Bylsma learned nothing in his year off from hockey. We don't play to the strengths of our players. Dumb system. Get rid of the stretch pass. Get rid of the dump and chase. Employ better puck support. Allow active defenseman in offensive zone and coming up the ice.

yeah.. that is why i think it would be tough to give him any term.. but on a one year deal it might be worth it..

With his injury he wont be taken before the 4th, I would take him in the 5th if he is still on the board but only if they decide to keep Taylor, if not they are going to have to take a QB early and this draft class is less than stellar

I hope Murray is a seller, no matter where the Sabres are at TDL...this team:
A) requires a restocking of the pipeline when Bailey, Baptiste and Guhle are all up with the Sabres next year (end of this year)
B) should acquire as much Currency as possible to leverage during the offseason to acquire players other teams cannot afford to protect for the expansion draft.
In my mind, Murray should be focused on acquiring another top 6 sniper and a stud LhD (no surprise their) and seek to unload Molson to Vegas with salary retained and a prospect / draft pick.

In those scenarios above, GMTM has to leverage the following at the TDL to acquire prospects / picks to be used at the Expansion Draft...
Girgs/Larson
Kane
Foligno (although I do like him on the third or fourth
Gionta
Dlo
Kuli
Franson
Gorges

Then I would bring Gio back for 1 year at $2m or so to help the 3 or 4 rookies settle in / learn...that is his true value to a young team IMO.

If Gio is the 13th forward or if can take Moulson's spot on the fourth line, i'm fine with that. Also, he won't be captain or alternate either. He's gonna have to swallow his pride a bit if he wants another paycheck
