oh baby give me all the elite d-men

I don't think we should try for Shattenkirk, we need a LHD D and he will cost a lot money wise.

He is a strong slot player with a great shot. He will be murdered in the NHL if we bring him up before he gets bigger
- lulags

Agreed. Hard to put on the weight during the season too, as we saw with Reinhart.

Unfortunately the Blues will end up letting Shatty go to free agency because they are to stupid to recognize a good deal when they get one. They are holding out for Crosby and a 1st I think

I feel like if they're good enough you can have 2 RHD together and be fine. Or, have Risto and Shat split up but now neither has to play forever as long as they have competent partners, like we hope Guhle and McCabe will be.

are they trying? Im 50/50 on him, blues are relying on him less this year which i find interesting especially even more given where they are in the standings (although thats gotta be goaltending). D-men are hard to come by, could put risto one one pair and shattenkirk on the other, reduces minutes and lets you roll 2 very good pairings.

I'm sure the Rangers will bite, 1 dummy loves another.

Justin Bailey has 17 goals in 35 games. Had 20 in 70 last year.

He's got good speed. The issue is he's...umm...small

like 5'6 small

Don't have much to lose though right? Very low risk. If he doesn't work, he doesn't work.

BTW, I don't see Nylander as struggling in the AHL. He's 5-12-17 in 36 games with no great centers on that team. As a rookie who was already on the smaller side I think he's doing alright. Definitely needs to fill out, though.

Didn't someone rock Laine because he was inexperienced and coming through the neutral zone with his head down to receive a pass? And he is 6"4 200+

Aston-Reese was scoring a goal per game at last check, worth looking at.

Kelleher is extreme boom/bust. If he can make it work despite his size you're getting 1st round talent for free.

- Sabresfan-365

that sounds like this guy... other than we drafted him.. is he that short?
