lol it was a good game, even if it didn't go your way. Nashville's depth is scary good, seems like everyone on that team contributes in a positive way. Should be a fun team to watch in the playoffs.

I'm kind of disappointed the All Star break is coming up this weekend. They've gotten themselves into a nice little streak here. 15 out of 22 points I guess. (7-3-1) The reason we haven't noticed, is because the 3 losses were all against teams we really needed to win against to move up a bit in the standings (Tampa, Carolina, Toronto). Just stinks a bit that now they're going to have to sit around for 4 days.

I just went back and looked, and it seems that Girgs has really started to find his game again.

3g, 4a in the month of January. He only had 3g, 3a coming into the month. I've noticed he's been much more involved lately, which is why I decided to take a look at his production.

winter's a little warmer and the sun's a little brighter today. I think the Sabres will stay above. 500 for the rest of the year. Trade deadline a month away just got a whole lot more interesting

Won't want to sell and take themselves out, won't want to mortgage the future to be 1 and done.

I can't believe I'm gonna say this but Bogo and Girgensons were the best Sabres on the ice last night. And I thought Kulikov acquitted himself quite well after the layoff. Nice comeback win boys.

That's sort of what I meant. Gionta has his trade value at a 3-year high, but you can't trade your captain if you have a shot at the playoffs. I think buyers will out number sellers this year and average players will command big time picks

It doesnt appear they can though. In the time theyve been here it looks like whoever gets that 3C spot winds up being far more effective.

I don't see Las Vegas crippling themselves with either Bogosian's or Moulson's contracts. There's no reason to.

First time in a while i saw them just flat out beat a team last night. at 7-3-1 they're firing on something and cool down is inevitable but if they've really figured it out it won't be some big drop like going 3-7 after going 7-3

He's an NHL player who's played a ton of games, and played well enough at one point to earn a big contract. He's going to have some good games in this league.

I just hope it doesn't then effect what we try and do with the defense this offseason

I never really thought about it, but it makes sense. Given that, which one do you think is the better one to keep?

Personally, I feel like Girgs has more offensive upside and better speed. But at the same time, Larsson is a total pest out there.

Moulson, no. But Bogo is a second pairing defenseman with good experience, and they have to spend their money somewhere
