The excuse now will be that Hamonic is hurt. He has got to get one of these guys. Do not let other teams steal them away. I'm not shocked. This is the Garth MO.

Hamonic is not the only chip that can be used. I mean look, we all know Barzal and Pulock are talented prospects........maybe the most talented forward and defensive prospects respectively in the organization. But, when they dont make the team this year out of camp (Barzal was sent back), does the organization really believe they are untouchable??? After ten years of drafting, how do you not package up a prospect, pick and a player for one of those guys??? Its literally as mind boggling as keeping Capuano for as long as they did.

I would use Hamonic has the big piece to a deal and add MDC if I have to or the #1 pick. Rather not move Barzal or Pulock. I'm not judging Barzal based on being buried in the pressbox by Cappy. Pulock has had injuries but the talent is there.

Look I think both Barzal and Pulock will have outstanding NHL careers. Im not question their talent. My point was really knocking the decision making with Snow. On the one hand he wont part with them, on the other they wont make the team. Its just senseless decision making. Its truly no different than the Capuano situation.....obvious to everyone he was not the guy. A few weeks ago Snow publically praised the coach and backed him........then fires him. There's an expression, "I never lie to men..."

Lets be real here.......is anyone calling to inquire about MDC? I mean sure he's a high draft pick, and im sure he'll be a 20 goal guy, but there's a ton of 20 goal NHLers. There's not a lot of Duschene or Landeskogs out there, and certainly not many who are up for grabs.

Just MDC in a deal might not be a lot, but in a package with Hamonic that's something different.

Ledecky fired Cappy. Garth had no choice but to go along. I'm hoping a new GM, Coach, and president will get to evaluate Barzal and Pulock.

Its kind of my point.......i laid it all out without saying it. The inept GM is continuously talking out of both sides of his mouth. I dont think a real GM would go 8 years without complimenting JT. Should have been priority number 1.

How do you go THAT long without getting someone to to aid your franchise player? Seriously?!?!

Honestly, the same way you go that long with a minor league coach. Im sure Snow's a great guy........judging by that photo of him drinking with three college girls (with his wedding ring on), im sure he's fun too. But, he's clearly in over his head. Being a GM isnt something that any former player can walk into, cause they know the game and build a winning team. We've sat patiently for 10 years now, and im sure I speak for most fans, but, enough is enough. I truly believe the ownership will make more changes with the front office.

I think Ledecky brings in that Team Prez this summer and Snow will have to answer to him.

I think he's been better though under Weight. I dont think he's taken as many penalties. You simply just can't respect a coach who's never done anything at any level of hockey, when you're a former Cup winner.

He's played 1 game under weight, and the only thing he did well was not take a penalty.
There was 1 shift where he turned over the puck in our zone 4 times, for phucks sake
CC and Cal must have been like, WTF are we stuck with this anchor for.
I hope he can turn it around but, honestly I think his better days have passed him by. He is slow, I hope I'm wrong but......
