I don't have to worry about that too much. The wife is highly allergic to shellfish. The last time I cooked king crab legs, her throat damn near closed off. She knew she was allergic, but we both like shrimp & crabs, so she gave it another shot. No more after that.

Unfortunately not. It got progressively worse. That last time was it for her. Breaking out in hives and having hard time breathing isn't much fun. Besides, we're not spring chickens anymore.
