People don't get the value of adding a guy like Lindholm.

The effect of adding him is double counted.

1. You remove Martin Marincin, which is an upgrade in itself... to nothing,
2. You add Lindholm, which is an upgrade over nothing.

Lindholm isn't free..

People don't get the value of adding a guy like Lindholm.

I understand the UFA free signing - but not looking at what Leafs would need to give up in a trade; would you prefer Shattenkirk or Lindholm?

I'm quite sure Ducks need to do something on D in order to not lose one of their D-men in the expansion draft.
Don't think they'll be able to trade Bieksa at trade deadline, so Vatanen / Fowler or Lindholm could be traded.

I don't think Anaheim would make that deal either. They have Lindholm as their 1LD and either Fowler or Theodore as their 2LD. Keep one of those two and trade the other.

They'll get some nice players on D and in good players in goal (Gruhbauer would be my guess for starting goalie). Forwards meh.

But a few weeks ago I was listening to the radio and they broke down what the team could really look like. And it was very ugly.

Not to mention they are going to start with no prospect pool whatsoever.

And in a very weak top 5 in this years draft it was a bad year to bring them in.
