You said shots on goal is garbage - your words above. You said I provided no data - what are shots on goal if they are not data?

I provided a comparable games played stat (is a statistic born from data? If so can a statistic be a form of data?), then finished by saying their 'stats' are pretty close. Now if you need me to nominate their save % you should have offered more information in your original comment that I replied to where you had 'zero' data or statistics mentioned!

You generalised I advanced the comment - again this is the English language that we are communicating in here, which you are finding very difficult to follow!!

Your reference to high medium & low % shots is at best disputable & with that should be part of no factual conversation involving real events.

Now do you understand?

I saw no numbers other than shots.

And shots is a garbage stat right?

You see what you want to see but your lack of understanding of written text appears to be why you contradict yourself & can't follow a simple discussion - funnily enough just like fedstammer!

Your sense of self importance is appalling & the fact you antagonise others on here is a sign of your pure ignorance!

If I'm Colorado I'm calling Pens about flower and picks

They are horrible and need something new in their life

I don't think Fleury, 1st and Pouliot for landeskog and Barrie is that far off, maybe throw in Kuhn or Wilson...

That's way off. They're going down the rebuild road, they won't want MAF. DP's value is pretty much rock bottom. A 1st is always a good starting point.

If you're talking landiskog, it will be Sprong and Guentzal and a 1st plus somebody with a big contract to make it work. Maybe swap out Sundy for Guentzal. Rumor has it they want high end D prospects.....which we don't have.

The Blues may be our best bet for Flower. They need to shed salary though I think, so taking back Shatts would do them a favour!

Trade 2 guys who arent even playing for us for 2 of the bright spots on a poor roster. Im sure they would go for that.

I don't think that even goes through on NHL 17 haha.

But I appreciate the hustle on the random trade talk. This forum has pretty much devolved into Boyd and Feds bullying people about analytics. I miss the days when we used to spitball about how to get Evander Kane in a Pens uni.

Does everyone think the Metro will slow down & even out, or is it going like a bat out of hell till playoffs? (frank)ing insane to think 4 teams can finish 1st & if you lose a couple you're in a WC position???

Then to look at the Atlantic, last place is a few wins out of a playoff spot!

I see no reason for it to slow down. The Caps and us are ridiculously talented, NYC is deep top to bottom, and CBJ, who I'm still not sure exactly how for real they are, are for real enough and have collected enough points that even if they do slow down a bit, they should still make the playoffs and contend for the division title.

Not sure a mid season poll holds much water, but it's a poll of the NHL coaches so........

http://www.tsn.ca/crosby-...top-coaches-poll-1.656397

Edit: Not a, ah don't worry don't want to start something I'll have to finish (again)!

This coaches poll sounds like some entertaining reading (unedited).

Its interesting that the coaches seem to simultaneously be complaining about poor refereeing when it comes to slashing and hooking and think Player Safety needs to do a better job, but then complain that players are putting themselves in bad positions too much and that shouldn't be protected and goalie interference is being over called. There seems to be a certain level of hypocrisy going on here.

It holds water because its voted by 30 men who know more about hockey than anyone around here.

You can take the playoff predictions with a grain of salt though. Anything can happen there.

Maybe for one of them...big maybe, but definitely not two of them.

EDIT: Also, I dont want to lose Wilson. He could be a great cost controlled winger the next few years. I like the cut of his jib.

I'm still curious to what any potential targets could be.. I haven't got a clue.
