By responses here, I think the answer is obviously yes. We are content.
And Edler is as much a top pairing d-man as Gardiner is. - mykokes

No wonder he has so many Pro Bowl part invitations this year!! Hopefully we get some live streaming this year Aethy.
But do you know what I miss? Fans of other teams trying the old innocuous light trolling technique initiated by asking rhetorical questions they already know the answer to. - 1979AD
You're coming to my Pro Bowl Party, right Tony?
It wouldn't be the same without you.
If I recall correctly, you won the betting pool last year for how many times a running back ran out of bounds without contact. |

is that really his plan or uncle lou's?
whatever it is, don't you think fans are going to start clamoring for playoff results if they make it in and not a first round exit? - kaptaan
1) It is the Shanaplan.
2) I'm sure the fans will start clamoring for a short-sighted trade. All the more reason to stick to the Shanaplan. |

Or we could continue with the slow but steady build model, a.k.a. the Shanaplan. - Atomic Wedgie

Imagine the windfall in mediocre pending UFAs we could get for Auston Matthews |

You will be missed.
That party trick you did last year involving public nudity and the spinach dip was hilarious.

I needed the sculpture. I wanted the spinach dip to be cold when I served it |

I just meant that the rebuild hasn't been slow at all, they are way past anywhere I thought they would be. |

I wouldn't miss another epic Wedgie Pro Bowl Party, even if NASCAR was on.
And yep - you remember correctly! The winning bet for how many times a running back ran out of bounds without contact was "always". |

How about JVR and Carrick for Edler? - kaptaan
and the pick from Columbus. |

so Edler and the 2nd would do it for you?
ok. that sounds reasonable. and we know JB likes trading 2nds... so there's that. |

yeah. i think this might be the one time a rebuild will actually be a rebuild in toronto. plenty of times it's been anything but... fans start getting antsy and the GM buckles and decides to add at the deadline or to try and speed things up by trading for a guy here and there.
fans might start clamoring, but i think tumbleweed is right that mgmt will just stick to their own timeline. |

I'm looking for hockey traded only for the deadline.
If they want to load of a pick and a prospect or two it better be a player who's 26 or under. Which I would be happy about depending on the player |

i think this sentiment is exactly what Nux fans are thinking as well. trade for youth & picks when making a trade, or don't trade at all.

what's all this 'slow rebuild' talk??!
Leafs have rebuilt enough, time to go the Detroit model 25 consecutive years of playoffs with 4 cups. |
