Wait, it is? Do they also get charged to the goaltenders individual stats?
- Scoob

they are not counted in any individual stats....the winning/losing team just gets a goal added to the respective team total

So there is actual GF/GA and as-adjusted GF/GA for team totals. Nice.

This is a perfectly reasonable post.

Now show yourself out, this site is reserved for ranting, hyperbole and general hysteria.

I'm trusting the process

Seriously tho, I trust in Hextall and his staff. the organization threw money out there in attempts to buy a cup for years (and I appreciate that they did pre-cap). they've gone the free agency (Vinny, etc) and the trade route (Pronger, Schenn) route in attempt to get that DMAN. with the exception of 2010 it hasn't worked post cap era. as i said the other day I am more than ready for another approach and I believe in the patient approach. the reactionary (molding the team around the last cup winner and signing every big name FA they can find) approach hasn't worked. Build this thru the draft. worked well in the 70's and 80's. draft well then supplement via free agency and trades.

I knew Hart was good but had no idea he was THIS good

Carter Hart, G, 6-1/181, Everett (WHL)
Another strong week for Hart, the Flyers’ top goaltending prospect. The 2016 second-round pick picked up two more wins in four games last week for Everett, stopping 113 of 94 shots he faced. On Friday, Hart picked up his sixth shutout of the season, a 33-save blanking of the Seattle Thunderbirds in a 1-0 victory of the Silvertips. In Everett’s 4-3 shootout loss to Spokane on Sunday night, Hart stopped 16 of 19 shots, but did give up 2-0 and 3-2 leads in the loss. He was beaten just once in the shootout. Hart is now 19-4-5 on the season, with a 1.90 goals-against average and .927 save percentage.

• Brynäs IF netminder Felix Sandstrom gave up four goals on 24 shots in a 4-3 overtime win over Orebro on Thursday night in his lone game last week.

seriously 18 points in 26 games isn't bad in the roll they are playing him. the game I attended, on the PK, he made a nice strip at the Albany blue line and scored a nice shortie. Not giving up on him just yet. I mean, I wouldn't not include him in a trade for the right player but I wouldn't just peddle him away for whatever
- nastyflyergirl

I think he definitely has skills but they are never showcased on a shift to shift basis.
I would think that even in a shutdown roll in the A. I would like to see him dominate even in that role and score points.

We already have a shutdown guy who can't score in VDV lol

Between the Isles' two unfortunate bounce goals and our goal getting disallowed, I fully expected our team to cave and let the game get out of reach quickly. But instead of getting kicked when already down, we stuck to the gameplan and clawed back to earn two points. Hopefully we can carry this confidence and momentum into the Rags game.
- arichardson22

I'm frustrated with the play of the players at time because I think we shoot ourselves in the foot at times. I'm frustrated with the usage of players and decisions by the coach. With this said, I'm grateful for last night's victory. I think the Rangers are gonna kill us but we should stay the course with a realistic depth chart, much as we saw last night. If the Rangers beat us 5-1, so what. Good team. Take step forward, not back.

Laughton is being groomed to be a two way center. Not to be the next scapegoat energy forward on the 4th line. 5 goals in the last 8 games is pretty solid production but I could care less about his points down there. He needs to work on his defensive coverage and decision making with the puck to be an effective NHL player. He's already shown decent offensive skills for a bottom 6 forward at the pro hockey level.

He should be watching video of bonino and Cullen for the pens. North south defensively responsible bottom 6 centers that get many breakaways

On the other hand, if they can't even get the objective facts right, how much confidence can be placed in the subjective analysis?

He has decent speed so hopefully he can utilize it. Biggest issue for me with him is how he defends in his own zone. Loses battles frequently around the net and down low.
