I stumped for Hammond and wouldn't have minded Enroth back. Oh well. Speculation of calling up Campbell, but personally, as talented as I believe he is, I like him developing in Ontario. Not sure he's ready.

Even if Campbell was ready, Kings wouldn't call him up since they'd need to send down one of Budaj or Zatkoff to make room for him. Budaj is our best option to win games right now, and Zatkoff satisfies the expansion draft eligibility requirement. Either one would likely be lost to waivers, which would cause the Kings major problems.

The best solution is to just overuse Budaj and give Zatkoff as few games as possible. Budaj might make a few mistakes that cost us a game here and there, but he has been pretty solid overall.

I doubt Zatkoff gets picked up off waivers. Also, while Zatkoff satisfies expansion draft requirements, so does Campbell.

I'll be back once DL does something whether it's a call up or a trade. Till then no more wasted time watching this garbage hockey.

while garbage hockey isn't ideal, it's still hockey, and I like hockey...

I could see them doing this, betting on Quick's return and Kopi's revival, hoping Carter has another year in him, and seeing if any money gets freed up after expansion draft. Not that they're giving up on this season, but "all-in" is for next year.

If Dean does an all in trade to try and salvage playoffs, it will ruin him and the team. Id like to see them move 1 or 2 depth forwards and allow the the few youngsters to come into theyre own. I still advocate the trading of Muzzin in a package for a winger for Kopi. I think Carter has many years left in him. Hes possibly the best in shape guy on the team.
