Watching Zuccarello make play in OT for NYR is type of play we would have expected from Strome but he is no better than Quine, Prince or any of the other clone forwards. As a rookie playing here and at BRI you could see he had a lot of zone awareness but that is gone from his play. He sees the ice just like the other clones.

Agreed, we didn't lose b/c of one bad backchecking play by Strome or Bailey missing on PP. We had Multiple chance to put that game away and we didn't. That game should of been won in Regulation. We need Flyers to get no points. Whether we got extra point in OT it really doesn't make that much difference. We need 2 wins this weeks, Show the Playoff teams (habs, Columbus) in East that if we make the playoffs we can beat them.

100% agree, he just tries to do too much and needs to learn to trust his teammates and that less is more and the smart play more times than not.

Greiss is a game stealer, Mason is not. Greiss has given us this play all year, Mason has been a sub .900 goalie for last 10 games.

Lets win tomorrow night and Thursday and we will be right in mix, I feel like Caps game Saturday will be impossible feat. They are thirsty for revenge.

100% agree, he just tries to do too much and needs to learn to trust his teammates and that less is more and the smart play more times than not.

In fairness to JT, he's head and shoulders better than anyone else on the team. If they had another elite player, maybe he wouldnt have to carry the team on his shoulders every game. I personally think if they had another elite player, maybe Johnny heads to the bench after missing the breakaway.

He should still change. Let the coach put him out there every other shift. Staying on the ice exhausted is asking for trouble. JT should be smarter than that.

I do agree with you in regards to Greiss and that we can get another top notch goalie. I will say though that Greiss has done more thatn what I ever expected. Is he the number one goalie going forward I dont think so but he will make a decent stop gap until that guy from Russia gets here

OK I'm the dumbass, his numbers are better than some of those guys the last two years and that's when he's played for us. He will sign a 2 or 3 year deal till sorokin gets here. For a guy that won a playoff series and has played great every night you're very quick to dump on the guy. Fleury is NOT a great goalie he chokes under pressure see isles pens series which if the isles had greiss and not nabby they would have won. Hate to tell you this but he's the reason the isles are in most games this year but ur so smart you probably already know this. With all the issues on this team greiss isn't the problem. Also another journeyman that was so great was tim Thomas. God 7 is right ur a moron also where's halal? The Ahl must be because he's the better goalie even though all his stats and the eye test tell another story

If the Isles can get an even better goalie than Greiss and fit him under the Cap than fine by me. Just rather not use any remaining Cap on a goalie when Isles might have a goalie they can use until maybe Sorokin comes over.
