Our fan base is a pessimistic bunch in general.
Miller has been red hot granted.
Fans complain about the Sedins lack of scoring & team scoring in general.
Our D gets slammed whether Sbisa EG or whomever.

So how the heck r we in the WC chase?
We overcame big injuries to our D which also killed us last year.
Fans simply don't see silver linings when not looking for them.

Historically our fans r same same just a different gen.

To start with I'm of the older generation, if that's what you last sentence means.

And I guess I'll stand corrected, we have a phenomenal forward group that scores at will, they are so fcuking awesome it blows my mind.

This defensive group is solid, Edler, Tanev, Gudbranson, Sbisa are all top 4, and just wait, Stecher and Tryamkin will be 1-2 next year, it's only because Edler and Tanev are holding them back.

It's probably not an indication that this team is great at winning against similar competition, now that their up against much better competition they'll probably run the tables, fcuk WC this group is divisional champion material.

And not to forget, the only reason for any losses so far this season are because of WD coaching and Lidster with his terrible D deployment.

Playoffs here we come...whoo hoo

lets hope not.

btw Ive noticed some offense changes lately, namely the way they enter the zone, going to the net and not delaying play till the others enter. Seems to be making a difference and the guys seem to have better jump from it. Henrik has been benefiting from the new play.
lets hope it brings good things

Trying to make room and activate D perhaps as option. Maybe WD is directing this effort. Give him some credit for keeping room and all. He has head scratchers but team battle says something.

Their? Who is that?
Why assume its trading away the future trading for the present.
Trades can be a win win & not every deal is who lost it.

Might be time to sit Sven for a game or two. Waving his stick at everyone as he passes by.

What's with this team being so different home and away?

Ever notice that when the Sedin's heat up that the rest of the team go cold.

Line match ups i think.
Shows up our lack of scoring depth.

Activating D sure but they lack finish.
So we play more conventionally til we have that talent.

Few posts. Some good saves by Cory. PP looked threatening. Yeah no dice so far but more controlled play by Nucks.

what I said was he has all the tools to be pronger (minus the mean)not that he is there now or even makes it there. But he has the tools and he's very smart in his play

now people are finally seeing why I was raving about him 2 years ago after his play at the world juniors.
He has all the tools to be a pronger-esq #1 D man superstar. That play video in the blog reminded me of Lindstrom in his decision making and then the breakout pass. But then he got speed and went straight to the net spraying the goalie with snow as the puck was about to be centered, another great part of the play that didnt get mentioned.

It would be incredibly stupid to ever lose this guy

- SMBDragon

Really? You were raving about a Canuck prospect?

It hardly seems likely coming from a guy that would only trade Tree or Bo fro Crosby or McDavid.

The pessimism is nauseating.

Can be said by whole team lol. So seems by what Sbisa said WD wants the D more active to get another option going.

New PP let's see what they do now.

Given that JB wants a rugged D man paired with an offensive partner its still a work in progress. This is where patience is needed most. We still need more scorng threats upfront namely game breakers.

Sven has to hit the net on that close in chance.

He's trying to show you he's a realist and not a homer. He doesn't like when positive and hopeful comments are made. I get the tools part of your point. He's got a lot of growth ahead of him. Here's hoping.

Ergo the lack of finish isn't game breaker like you said. Well they competed there. Too bad nothing to show for it. Do Nucks have the extra gear to keep pushing? Hopefully Hawks sit back happy with 2 goal lead.

The only reason the team ever loses is that they are so tired from the oral fellating their peckers need a rest.
