Shoulda been his second or third win. Put an all time performance against SJ awhile back, but the team in front of him sucked Azz and couldn't score.

But he was also absolutely lit by the preds and the isles last year. Was ugly. Stoked for the kid. Played well and Deserves it

I'm willing to bet that McDavid's next contract will be between 8.7mill and 9.7mill. Very manageable. There is no way he will want max dollar when he knows the team needs to surround him with other good players.

I also think other players will sign at bargains to play with the BEST player in the world.
