His face is fine. Fighting by skilled 4th liners is the one sure fire way to get people interested in hockey. |

I was just poking some fun. Wilson was certainly outmatched. Belesky is a bear of a man. He gave it a bully effort. |

I don't know, I saw a grown 'man' grab his own face in agony after colliding with another players shoulder (shoulder to shoulder contact mind you), rolling around on the ground crying on Saturday night - that sport has the biggest world following by a long long way!!! It's called Soccer (or football depending where you are on the world). |

Would you guys say that Rust and Sheary are clearly top 6 caliber forwards on any team, regardless of linemates? I find it hard to imagine that they are purely just a product of playing with Crosby/Malkin. Were they projected to be this good as they were developing? Or has their production been a pleasant surprise? |

Sheary is. Rust is a fit guy much like Hagelin. He does a specific thing for his lines which can work in the top 6, but he's not a scoring winger. And yeah their development has been a pleasant surprise. Sheary was undrafted, so obviously he wasn't projected to be this good, and Rust was only a third line pick. |

Did you watch the replay. Ya it wasn't great but Krug lost an edge and he let up at the end. Dirty I would say no. |

Interesting. Good to know, thx.
I'm a big fan of the way your teams plays the game. If anyone is gonna take the reign of power away from the Hawks(which you guys appear to be doing), i'd prefer it be a fast, skilled team that plays the game the right way, and not some heavy hitting/clog up the neutral zone snooze fest like the LA Kings.
So, count on hearing from me again with more questions as i continue to follow and become a secondary fan of your team. You guys are extremely entertaining to watch. Kinda reminds me of how my Hawks used to play... |

Sorry, your application to become a 'secondary' Pens fan has to go through the process,
- have you every sworn or used bad language directed at our great captain Sir Sidney?
- is Sidney better than Toews (pronounced toes in Australia)
- are you a Flower or Muzza type guy (very important to know your persuasion in this matter)?
- what is your opinion of Craig Adams?
- do you even know who Craig Adams is?
- do you like the Flyers &/or Rangers?
- do you think Bartley should be given his HB permission back?
- are actual event totals more important than expected totals?
Please submit your responses to our fan application department located in Sweden - Attention to;

Tomlin's supposed to be a defensive guy and he has gone with probably the worst possible scheme to try and stop Brady, who's the best QB in the league at picking apart zone coverage and the fact that he didn't sneak Ben three times when we were on the goal line is unacceptable. Totally different game if we score a touchdown there and stop Brady on just one of those TD drives. Tomlin is 100% culpable. |

Not to mention throwing bombs on third and short in the first quarter. Until there are significant coaching changes it will be tough for Pittsburgh to win a championship. |

Yeah I'm so (frank)ing done with the Tomlin-Haley combo. I wonder how many rings we'd have if Cower had more in the tank. Tomlin wasted Big Ben's prime.
Like, I didn't think we'd win and I'm fine losing to a more talented team like the Patriots, however the way we lost gets me. It was an expose of the coaching staff's short comings that have been sinking this team for years. We're going to be really good next year on paper. If Tomlin bungles his way through next year and we don't make it to the SB, he should be disposed of. |

Would love that, but its not realistic. For whatever reason, Tomlin's seat never seems to get hot and no coach is going to get fired after making it to the AFC Championship game? Why do both of my football teams have bad coaches that will never be fired? |

There's something especially lovely about beating the hell out of the Bruins.
Also, to the guy that asked about Sheary & expectations of him? This is basically the best case scenario of what they expected when he became a college free agent signing. He put up good numbers offensively but a lot of teams still shied away from him because of his size. The Pens saw him as a guy that, if his size didn't hurt him, he could make an impact as a scoring winger. But at worst, since he wasn't a pick, he could be a high-scoring forward at the AHL level even if it could never translated to the NHL because of his size. They basically hoped that he could be a poor man's Martin St. Louis if everything played out perfectly. And thus far, it has.
I recall reading how excited the team was to sign him a few years ago because of his offensive potential, but I don't think anyone in the organization really believed that it would work out as well as it has. |

It's never on the "hot seat" because the Steelers management decided many many decades ago to not play the "what have you done for me lately" game with coaches that most other teams play. For better or worse, they never give any serious consideration to firing a coach. They just let that coach coach until he decides not to anymore. The media will occasionally talk about if a Steelers coach SHOULD be on the hot seat, but even they don't ever say that any of them truly are. Even during the few years that Cowher teams didn't make the playoffs, the most you got were some articles about "could this be the year that the Steelers fire the coach if the Steelers don't make the playoffs?" that were essentially nothing more than click-bait in the years before click-bait was a thing. |
