I think its all funny, but theres no way you belong on the same list as JB, Oildumb and Hallfan. Thats a shot between the balls if you ask me.

As for the posters that hate Iggy...well theres a couple in the Leafs thread that feel the same. He is the Connor McDavid of Leafs trolls.

You can attribute it how ever you want, but it is his name (Chia) who gets credit and takes blame for the moves. As the years pass no one will give credit to MacT for any potential part he had in scoring Talbot. Chia is the Gm who finalized the move. Like he was the GM that finalized the Reinhart move.

I see more good than bad in his job, and the end result as of now is that the team is better. That is undeniable.

I am not a MacT hater. I agree with the view that he did some good and bad. I think he made some mistakes due to being a rookie and just wanting to actually turn it around.

I would be happy to see him get a Cup ring as a member of the management team.

In the end though it was Chia that made the Bold move MacT talked about.

It is what he is doing now that directly impacts where the team is presently.

You and the homers here are like the Colorado, Toronto, Flames fans that thought their teams were great a few years back and had rebuilt right and all that poop because they had a good season. They were wrong too.

Those teams were riding a multitude of career years and unsustainable save percentages Iggy.

Talbot is doing a great job in net but his performance (while All Star worthy IMO) is not unsustainable, nor is he having a career year. McDavid and Draisaitl are having great years but pretty much picked up where they left off last year, so I'd hesitate to say its unsustainable. Only guy who is really having a career year is Maroon.
