Jim Rutherford? Were all his moves flawless or wins? Bowman gave up Teravainen just to get rid of Bickell and gave up big for Ladd. Dean Lombardi is far from perfect. And yet they- along with Chiarelli- are the league's last 6 Cup winners.

Ya Dallas paid that much for Russell as a rental and we got him for free. Great signing by Chiarelli. And set up by the cap clearing, locker room problem jetison of Yakupov by Chiarelli. Was really on a roll that week! GM of the year!
