I'd trade Hamonic so fast at this point. Weight really sounds great. No puck luck or hockey gods talk.

Two favorites from the 80's to match Weight's 2-0 record.

The greatest part of that article is when Torts sticks up for him. You know, that great performance the US team had last year.

I give Torts an a for effort. No way should Cappy be near the top for any jobs. Not with guys like Dineen, Crawford, and maybe Clade available.

I wish Cappy well and hope he gets something, but he would not even been near the top of the list of who I even talk to.

Truely if McPhee is looking for a rah rah let's go team, players type coach and he may be with a new expansion team, but he wouldn't be my pick. I would give him an assistants job, but not my head coach, no thanks.

It's only two games in and Weight already looks like 10 times the coach. I agree on the assistants job.

I think they like both cappy and Doug but Doug's the parent that will yell at you and make you sit in your room not just threaten it

Yep! Weight is much tougher than Cappy and has a ton more hockey knowledge than Cappy. Players have to respect Weight for his playing career alone.

How the hell did Gallant's firing start the ball rolling to Capuano's firing? This team sucking started that ball rolling. They started talking to Gallant 3 weeks before firing Cappy. If he wanted the job he would have had it then.
