I also find it odd that there's not a lot of dirty goals going on near the net. However, the Flyers have sucked at 5v5 for at least two coaches now. Not sure what the issue is exactly, but at this point, the team is lucky if they score 1 or 2 goals a game.

Its desperation in the ozone. Shots from the point. Usually blind passes or pucks whipped through the crease in desperation. No forwards besides Jake and occasionally Konecny and Schenn can make a skilled play that looks dangerous. G is a bunny out there

VdV, PEB, Weise, Lyubimov, Read, Raffl, Cousins....they've cornered the market on journeyman forwards and with Giroux and Schenn, they are well on their way to doing the same with pp specialists.

It's hard to say their shooting/save percentages are unlucky when you see shot charts like that. This doesn't even factor in the odd man rushes, which are the highest danger chances.

I'm running out of patience with Hak. The Flyers are lacking talent in some areas, but I think the cause of their problems might be more system/usage than just raw talent.

It's really really bothering me. All this dog poop about Hak not having "emotions" or some iffy depth personnel decisions that will probably get smoothed over as the roster changes don't worry me. This does. This is straight system stuff. You watch a team like the Pens change coaches and just roar back to life offensively. This stuff isn't small. The d-zone has been a complete mess, but the o-zone is equally one. The d-zone I feel like is individual mistakes by poopty players. The o-zone is systems.

Yes, and I've looked at that chart every game. It's on naturalstattrick. Don't really need a chart though to see that the Flyers got very few dangerous scoring chances, didn't get the puck to the net, and didn't go to the net.

He's the Chip Kelly of hockey, college coach who is in over his head coaching pros. I've given him the benefit of the doubt til now, but this team seems completely out of sorts in pretty much all aspects of the game and I see no signs that it will turn around soon. If they go on and lose to the Isles and Rags, the pressure will be on Hextall to make a change
