The utter lack of drive and/or emotion is really starting to wear on me. For thevfiret time this season, I'm starting to hope for a coaching change. They seem rudderless and just going through the motions. The last 3 games have been an embarrassment.

One goal is just a joke. Tank mode won't even help that's how much help they need. This team needs some alpha males. They play soft and have zero creativity. If Giroux is hurt he needs to sit. He has been invisible.

I am going to say something that i didnt think i would even say this year. Maybe inserting tyrell goulbourne would be nice a couple of games. Maybe a little chaos is needed.

When the big boys aren't going they suck.

It's hard to say their shooting/save percentages are unlucky when you see shot charts like that. This doesn't even factor in the odd man rushes, which are the highest danger chances.

I'm running out of patience with Hak. The Flyers are lacking talent in some areas, but I think the cause of their problems might be more system/usage than just raw talent.

I dont know. I thought his system was aggressive with d being aggressive in neutral zone and attacking. Maybe they just do lack the talent needed and guys we have liked are overrated.

As bad as all the forwards are scoring, it can't be just the players scoring poorly or declining. It can't be. There are signs that point to this being an offensively uncreative, stifling system. "Get the puck on the wall, up to the D, screen/tip, get puck, repeat." It's not like Hak can't change things, but it's something that has existed both of his first 2 seasons. The Flyers just do not generate actual chances in the slot and stuff. You see no creative plays and passes. It's pure meat and potatoes. Boil em mash em stick em in a stew.

I also find it odd that there's not a lot of dirty goals going on near the net. However, the Flyers have sucked at 5v5 for at least two coaches now. Not sure what the issue is exactly, but at this point, the team is lucky if they score 1 or 2 goals a game.

Total perimeter team. No one gets to the net.

It's every game. Seriously.

They are a bit unlucky, and players haven't been playing well, and as big as I am on a lot of Hakstol's system, boy, it's a theme with getting no scoring chances and empty shots. If there is such a thing as "empty Corsi" stats, the Flyers kind of do tilt that way.

Yes. And basically they have no idea how to beat the devils. I knew before the game it would be an epically boring loss.

Of note, I wasn't sure read even played played tonight. Some of our top 9 forwards are routinely invisible for stretches of games. That is not good.

The issue is simple. When it comes to the forwards, they lack speed, skill, size and heart. Other than that, they're just dandy
