Fortunate bounce and JT doesn't miss.

Big break for the Hawks, tough luck for Van.

...and that ends it.

Hawks find 2 more points with mediocre play...gotta be the most fortunate club in the league.

Starting to see signs of depth in scoring contribution.

Signs that this isn't a PAK or bust one line team.

Have the Hawks had a game this year where they played well in all 3 periods? I don't recall one.

It's tough to watch Toews try to do what he used to be able to do - he used to be able to skate through defenders, to keep control of the puck in traffic, hit spots with his shot. No one knows if he's less then 100% physically but he is certainly less than what he used to.

Well he hit the spot that time - way to go Tazer.

Yeah but Rob the Hawks earned that goal with solid pressure the shift before and a nice rush by Panik who played well tonight. That's not "bad luck" for the losers.

Four point night for 19. Great to see.

Unfortunate for Vancouver, but who cares.

Disappointing to see the team continue to take the foot off the gas and get comfortable, only to lose leads.

So this is how it's going to be for the rest of the year, don't know if my hearts going to be able to handle it, especially the playoffs.

the hawks sure have an interesting formula to win games...

tonight it was have a great 1st and get 2 late goals...
get out played for the next 35 minutes...
give up a pp goal, lose mo...
give the tieing goal less than a minute later..
and get another final minute game winner...

winning fugly indeed...

and JT finally got some bounces...played well with a 4 pts...kudos to him

Indeed. Definitely some luck though. He still looks off with his skating. Got beat in several foot races to the puck tonight. Hopefully he gets hot and whatever is wrong heals up. Some offensive confidence should help.

I like how Schmaltz has looked. Makes the 4th line a bit of a scoring threat. He needs to stay in the line up for now.

It's mid January and the team is in coast mode like usual. Hawks still owned the advantage in shots, possession, scoring chances, high danger chances, and most importantly goals. Considering the Canucks for 3 PP to Chicago's 1, that isn't too bad.

Toews was due for a little luck, glad to see him get some.

Canucks were playing for the tie after their 2nd goal - Hawks took control of the game, especially the last 5 minutes - just because of that, the Canucks deserved to lose.

wild like the hawks blew an early 2 goal lead vs the preds and now trail 3-2 late in the 3rd....

I like Desjardins and Tootoo alreight. But the guys contributes nothing to the offense. 63 games no points and a minus 12 between them. How the heck did Desjardins score 8 goals last year.

I hope they do not sit Kero or Schmaltz when Kruger comes back. Keep Kero and Kruger as 3rd and 4th line C's. Have Moose play a wing. Sit Desjardins and Tootoo.

The Chicago cups are over! Good run but it's done! Us Flame fans will have to wait only another decade.
