Kempny having a heck of a period, but the Hawks have sucked since the first...

...lead blown.

The PK is still wretched.

Kempny really just isn't as effective as I was hoping he would be. He was somewhat further along in his development than many other youngsters on D we've seen these past few years, and I've just been overall disappointed in his performance.

I don't think we've won one board battle in the 3rd period, typical Blackhawk mail it in hockey

This Hawk team is just a chore to watch.

Virtual repeat of the Wild game last week.

Bing, bang, boom! Crappy PK leads to a momentum swing and to a tilting of the ice the wrong way. Hope we got another come from a tie game left in us. Geez!

If we are gonna complain about refs against this team, we got bigger problems.

Have the Hawks had a game this year where they played well in all 3 periods? I don't recall one.

It's tough to watch Toews try to do what he used to be able to do - he used to be able to skate through defenders, to keep control of the puck in traffic, hit spots with his shot. No one knows if he's less then 100% physically but he is certainly less than what he used to.

100% agreed on Toews. Clearly not the same dynamic offensive talent capable of putting up 70ish pts like he once was. Doesn't have those same moves anymore. Idk if it was injuries or just a natural early decline, but he's clearly no longer the same explosive player he used to be in that area of the game. I mean don't get me wrong he was never Crosby(offensively), but he definitely used to be better.

The worst part about Kempny IMO is the lack of improvement he's shown. He's just as good(or bad, depending on how you view it) now as he was his first game of the season.

Great back-to-back shifts by the 4th line and the Toews line. 19 needed that one IMO. Huge game for him on the scoresheet.
