I'm happy with last night. Not that they lost. But the fact that I was pissed off the way they played so poop. last 5 years it would be expected and nobody would really care. Just shows they are capable of winning and playing well. 9-2-1 in the their last 12 ain't too shabby

I'm trying to take some positives from it too..

I'm sure it humbled them a bit and hopefully they rebound with a character win vs the Sens.

But i think the biggest lesson from lastnight is that they can't keep going with this group of defencemen.. they NEED to acquire another top 4 just to maintain the current pace. Injuries happen, and teams step it up later in the season

I just find it interesting..... that a team that wanted to lose on purpose (pretty much the most pathetic thing you can do in sports) feels like it can trash talk any other team in the league just because of 6 months of middling play and a player that would improve any team in the league.
