claim innocence of what? the Canucks need a teardown. it's obvious. I'm shocked this even needs to be said. the few good players are pushing retirement and the pipes are near totally dry. an injection of talent is desperately needed there. more than every other team in the league. at every position. there isn't a single player under the age of 22 that projects into a player you'd find on the first line or pairing on a contending team.

I've seen plenty. the tables have turned. the eastern conference is better quite easily. and Vancouver is not a good team. they'll miss the playoffs, even in the weaker west, even with less teams to compete for a spot, for at least the next 5 years. every year they deny a teardown is just prolonging that.
