So his career highlights fit into a 3 minute reel.
Seriously though, if he can learn to actual move his ass in the d-zone and play some defense, he could be more successful. Not sure how much upside potential he has. but if he learns to play defensively, and hopefully Weight will force him to, he'd get more opportunities offensively.
I can't count how many times myself and many others here said that.
Now that the hockey talk is out of the way, back to the videos. - Isleshockeyman
yes im one of them but now we have to see it. at end of the day, as happy as I was last night, I still would like to see it this weekend and into next week to be convinced we have a chance.
I would love for someone to compile Josh Bailey lowlights. All the times he dons his invisibility cloak or does his imitation of a traffic cone while the puck is in the d-zone. Problem is the video would go on for hours and hours.... - JohnScammo
Mom was a huge Monty Python fan, had us watching it on PBS all the time, I didn't understand much of it back then but when I got a little older it was great. - mdw7413
It is. I generally quote Monty Python like 4-5 times a week, that I'm aware of. It takes some getting used to because a lot of it is dry British humor. But once you get it, it's funny as hell. Steven Wright is like that too. His stand-up you have to think about sometimes. Like "there's a fine line between fishing and standing on the dock looking like an idiot".

Berube confirmed that he's starting tomorrow vs. LAK. First start for him since #Isles went down to two goaltenders. - ses111
(frank)ing seriously!?! Can't you play him against non-Pacific Division teams and let Greiss do me the solid?
Nice way of NOT being offered the job..... - Ur Not Me
Snow is such a secretive, underhanded little b!tch. It's pretty easy to say "Dougie, I'm making you the interim coach. I will be interviewing coaching candidates, but show me you can succeed so I can put you on the list".

Meh, that's kind of implied, no? I mean if by some miracle, Weight coaches these guys into the playoffs, and they do some damage there, you think Snow isn't going to notice and have a change of heart??

Of course, but for Weight, the assistant GM, to not know that there was at least one coach being interviewed was either ignorant/naïve on Weights' part or deceptive on Snows' part.
Uhhhh... I am Listening to a podcast from Down Goes Brown (the biscuits podcast). According to him, a source close to the Isles indicated that just before Wang lost majority control, he gave Snow a 10 YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR ALMOST $25M, ON TOP OF THE THREE YEARS HE STILL HAD ON HIS DEAL AS A WAY TO PROTECT SNOW FROM BEING FIRED!!! I hope to God that this is completely untrue. If it's not, you can shoot me dead now, because I can't wait another 13 years for Snow to disappear. Anyone else hear this?
