A song that goes way back to the 70s, but worth remembering, because it was the Isles' old goal song (and other teams). It brings back some good memories......

Dude was arrested 3 times in 4 years for DUI's. He was also arrested, tried and convicted multiple times in multiple countries for raping minors and other assorted sexual abuse, sexual assault and other sexual acts with minors. He's a (frank)ing scumbag.
STL is in major trouble with their goaltending. Allen has proven to be a poor starter, so far, and they are in a major bind about goaltenders. Wonder if they'd take Halak off our hands. The return wouldn't be much, but it would be great to clear $4.5M off the books.

That it would. Their cap situation? - Isleshockeyman
According to CapFriendly, their current projected cap space (assuming roster remains unchanged) is $1,269,870. Halak's cap hit is $4.5M, but don't forget the cap is a daily function. So after doing some complicated mathematical calculations, such as "dividing" and "multiplying", Halak's pro-rated cap hit if he were traded today would be $1,975,000.
If they found a way to get rid of their current backup, they could fit Halak in for the remainder of this season no problem. They'd have to get creative to accommodate him for next season though. Or trade him after the season.

Asked Doug Armstrong Allen's play alters his thought process heading into deadline. Says no, Jake is our goalie for long-term #stlblues
Not great if I recall correctly. 2 mill maybe? - Wildschwein
Looks like they'd have to send about $3m back our way to make Halak fit. Berglund? He's got a limited no trade. Although, in 9 seasons he's only scored 20 twice.

Personally I don't really believe him. If St. Louis continues to poop the bed they will address the problem.

Doubt they would. Since they're doing you a solid they'd want you an take an iffy player in return. My guess would be Yak or Lehtera.
