Interesting news.......

Hearing there's a good possibility he could get fired any day now, if so, do isles sign him up immediately or wait 2 see who else is available at season's end....

The fact that Snow was Wang's " Piss Boy " I totally believe this to be true. That said L and M paid 500 million dollars for this poop show and lost about a million in estimated worth of the team already. I would think they have no problem firing Snows ass and paying him 2.5 million per year if and when they feel the time is right. Having the moron make trades and decisions like he made last summer, causes damage that costs them and the team a hell of a lot more than 2.5 million / year imho.

I'm sure the owners can still fire him. If that's true, which I sort of doubt, I'm curious if they would have to pay it, or just terminate the contract.
- Isleshockeyman

Maybe that "golden parachute" contract is why Ledecky is looking to hire a team president to oversee everything rather than a "GM"?

The Isles need help with their power play. Montreal has an excellent power play. Their power play coach is a guy named Kirk Muller. I bet he'd love to coach the Islanders.

Who? Never heard of him. Is he some extreme minor league coach in Alabama?

Is that the one that refused to report when first traded here? Maybe I have slight remembrance of him.

Pfft. Any team can score pp goals. It takes a team with extraordinary talent to 0 for January.

Arthur Staple @StapeNewsday
Berube confirmed that he's starting tomorrow vs. LAK. First start for him since #Isles went down to two goaltenders.

Arthur Staple @StapeNewsday
Thomas Greiss now T-3rd in NHL with .937 EV save %. Finished last season T-7th at .933. Might not be a fluke.

ugh, I bought ticket to bring my son and dad tomorrow. I put a 35% chance we win. Berube is terrible. He sits too far back in crease and it leads to too many goals from point.

Hopefully it's still a win and Berube shines against his ex team.

Be nice to see him play so we can see why Garf Bag protected him so long causing the circus that the 3 headed goalie monster was.
