Solid win... HAnk played up to his skill level..saw it all night
thought he over reacted to Hymans steal of Clendenon and could have stayed up instead lunging ,gave up entire top of net ..... Hyman made the play !
Clendenon.... getting exposed ! I M O
Staal after the break gets us back to Holden Staal...Mac & shey ...g & K
Offense : wow .... not much not workin except 4th line ... not bad but getting scoring chances ... I M O grabner to 4th & vesey to hayes & J T would balance both lines better ... Grabs is unbelievable on ice.... just blows away D if next to them... seems faster know then w/Isles ? seems we set him up more for that type of play...Krieds also use that type of break out cant get enuff of that speed factor ... Z bad like he never left... had 2 more if he gets sum luck ....
Vegas strategy: 1st depends on finish of season...completely ..
But if we did as of now ;; I expose HANK!! who takes on 8-9 mill for 34 yr old goal (who would hate u for taking him out of his nest) no risk of being picked |

Oldschool, you hear things behind the scenes about the Rangers potential interest in Shattenkirk? its gonna be a lot of dough to sign him longterm. A significant salary dump of a roster player/players will have to be made. - B2B76
The team is still interested in moving Nash, there were no takers in the off season, and it's unlikely they would look to move him at this years deadline, especially if they bring in Shatty. That signals they want to give the cup another run.
I have heard there are some who are wondering what the fallout would be from the fanbase, if they were to ask Hank to give them a list of teams he would lift his NMC for. This would not happen during at the deadline, but at some point during the offseason. Conversely, word is ownership is not on board with anything involving moving Lundqvist, at least not yet. |

The rangers did play much better...but the leafs did play much worse. Glad to see the king look a little better last night tho, While the leafs are my number 1 rangers are my second team so its with mixed emotions every time they play - SteelmanTO

This would have to be the logical choice of a contract going the other way if we were to acquire Shatty. Buying out Girardi this summer would be prudent as well, but that won't save us that much with another heavy duty deal (Shatty) coming into the fold. |

They have to protect Hank because of his NMC. This cannot happen. They have to expose Raanta as per the rules.

Always liked Sundin. Think his last year with the leafs he was like 35-36 and still put up almost 80 points. |

Yea, that can't happen. I don't see any scenario where Hank gets dealt anywhere (HE WOULD NEVER WAIVE HIS NMC anyway). He's retiring a Ranger. |

If the Rangers didn't make any moves and bought out G, I believe they would have plenty of money to sign Shattenkirk without moving Nash. Jimbo would probably know better though, he always knows the cap situation. |

My farts are magical, you know.
Any time I let one go in my office, it is an immediate attractant that makes people walk in to ask me something. |

I think they'd be fine, the X factor is the new contract that Z-bad gets |

I could see a scenario where Hanks play falls off to a level that he retires early like Naslund did. I think he still has a lot left in his tank but if another injury happens or there is steady decline in play I could see it happen is all. |

Big reason why Ottawa moved him. They didn't want to pay him the pine pony he is gonna get |
