Yeah, I didn't know if it was like an actual draft. Because you could technically do some maneuvering if you are one of the later teams. See who is available and make decisions on who you would protect, etc.

Cause my thinking is what if Las Vegas takes players all with only 1 year left on their deal? Then are they gonna have to find a whole new team the year after?

they have to get to the Cap floor so they will definitely have to take on a few contracts that are not ideal

I don't believe Vegas would take Grabner, as good has he's been , he's primarily a PK specialist, although he could be seen as a trade chip at next years deadline. I think Raanta would be squarely on their radar.

If the Rangers bring in Shatty at the deadline, he will not be a 2 month rental.

The rangers did play much better...but the leafs did play much worse. Glad to see the king look a little better last night tho, While the leafs are my number 1 rangers are my second team so its with mixed emotions every time they play
