Missed the game last night, saw the stats. Gardiner led in ice time and was a +1. Hunwick was a -3. Corrado apparently on for the first goal, but hear it was Kadri and Nylnader blown coverage. So....what did i miss.

Caps are firing on all cylinders. But they need Carlsson healthy. Orlov/Alzner/Niskanen is a good top-4 after him, but Orpik is older than dirt and limited and Chorney sucks, so they really need Carlsson to even compete.

Reason why Rychel is not yet on the team is mainly due to expansion draft considerations (38 more nhl games and he would need to be protected).
Same goes for Leipsic by the way.
