Like to see him on Comets if he gets a chance this season.

Ya, don't think North Bay will have a long playoff run, if they make it.

If Miller is not signed by the drat Vegas can try to sign him
- VANTEL

They would have to claim him in expansion to do prior to July 1. If they don't Canucks can sign him post expansion and prior to July 1.

Presuming we stand pat....
Which do we like better...
Lose Marky or Sbisa or say Granlund?

- Nighthawk

Go to the Benning interview forward it to the 8.55 mark and listen to it for 30 secpnd

He said the notice our D and ask us about our D

- VANTEL

I heard it. He said 'they noticed our depth in d', not they are 'trading' for D. Semantics perhaps but I'm just showing it can be spun one way or the other, depending on one's perspective.

Carol has the interview on her blog go to 8.57 mark and the 9.30 mark

AT 9.03 mark he says if we are going to make a move to improve up front it will probably be with one of our Dmen

You originally said that Benning said they were calling about 'trades', I rebutted by saying, no, he said they were saying they were 'noticing our depth in d'. Not exactly the same thing but like I said, semantics, it depends on how one interprets the spin.

Brett Mackenzie will be our surprise.guy next season. Turns 20 in March, averaging over 1 pts. per game in North Bay 6'2" 195 lbs.
Solid in all 3 zones- Eliteprospects.
Sounds like a player that may be able to play 3/4th line in 2018.
I am overly optimistic, but a damn good fan.

Edit: our 2016 7th Rd pick

- Reubenkincade

Sounds like Gaunce but picked in the 7th round

He did say they noticed our Defencemen

next sentence

They ask about our Defencemen

next he says

If we are going to be making an upgrade upfront it is probably going to happen by trading a Dman

Then he says I talk to the other GMs weekly

Here is the interview listen between 8.55 to 9.45 mark

For the 3rd time, I heard the interview. We obviously interpreted it differently.

That's exactly what he said. He was talking about development of D like Stecher. Why he would move D to improve forwards. It's been reported on. I don't get why Marwood is talking about spin. Unless he thinks the calling about trades is vague or unclear.

Asked if he is considering moving Gudrandson since Tryamkins emergence , he replied" No . I want toughness on all three lines. We struggled when Tanev and Edler were out of the line up. I like Tryamkin Gudbrandson and Sbisa for their toughness. Stecher has had a real good year. "

So who is left?

- VANTEL

and I agree with him too.
Im sure subban has trade value based on name and ahl scoring.

Im sure he does have some value as he's been a surprise and even mentioned by cherry. I actually would say he IS expendable.

I work in Surrey now. At Central City towers. I use the sky train a lot. That (frank)ing station is a gong show. I can't imagine what it was like before all the development.
- bloatedmosquito

cops really cleaned it up when the university went in. Thats why the cop shop is nearby.
Maybe come to "shakers" strip club some evening for a drink if you want. I'll make sure no one bugs you, introduce you to some dancers

or, we wait until after the expansion to re-sign miller - protect marky and expose bachman. much better idea imo
- Retinalz

I thought that was the plan

Why would we lose Marky?
Bachman is our exposed goalie. We aren't protecting a UFA Miller. The choice is between Sbisa and Granlund unless Hansen or Granlund get traded, in which case it is just Sbisa(or Dorsett)

- Retinalz

but will dorsett be healthy by then? Isnt he done for the season?

Who in their right mind would pick dorsett over granlund hansen or sbisa?

He can't qualify as one of the minimum if injured. But Vegas can pick whoever isn't protected or exempt. Agree though don't see Vegas wanting him over others that will be available.

I think it would be close.

Adam Larsson got Taylor Hall.

Tanev is better than larsson
-Better corsi
-Better possession
-Better Shot suppression
-The same offensively
- He is a right shot top pairing D-man which is impossible to trade for.
