I know you're laughing at Leafs fans for thinking he's good based on the fact he's barely played an NHL game recently but how can you "see" that he's an average AHLer at best given that he ha barely played an NHL game recently (or an AHL one minus a few conditioning games - which I seriously doubt you've seen) - twiztedmike
Most of the points Corrado racks up come vs Owen Sound on Thursday nights. Let's wait and see how he performs when the pressure is at it's highest before anointing this kid as a can't miss prospect. |

I'm only half joking. The other half is morbidly curious as to what kind of carnage would ensue if you spent a day there. - 1979AD

After while tho you can't help but roll your eyes and appear condescending when they always refer back to "it's in the bible".. I like turning it around on them and try to get them to admit their mental health issues.. like, does god talk to you? Without god would you be depressed? Do you believe in everything in the bible? if so are you okay with owning a slave and beating it? or human sacrifice? - Arctic_AARDVARK
the whole "belief" question is the crux of the issue - it licenses you to ignore reason, science and fact in support of your belief system... which I have a hard time keeping a straight face discussing.
And I actually don't care if someone makes that choice for themselves... some people like medication, some like alcohol some like to hide behind belief - that's your choice...
just don't throw it at me!
seriously - what' wrong with a bit of human sacrafice anyway?

Because the times he has played....meh.
He doesn't deserve to be stuck in flux between the AHL and NHL but if this kid was special, the staff would notice and he would be playing. He's not playing. So I think it's safe to assume he's nothing special. - underhill14
he's never been given the time to find his groove and play with confidence/chemistry either.. |

Last year, pre-season, his recent ahl conditioning stint.
I've seen plenty.
Of course this is just my opinion.
I hope i'm wrong. - daws44
He was better than hunlak last year and he was one of the leafs best dmen in the preseason.
What about his conditioning stint did you not like? |

I get that....actually I'm a firm believer in getting the chemistry right in the line up BUT...
He practices with the team every (frank)ing day, the staff sees him, we don't but they do, and they still choose to keep him out of the line up. Gotta be something to that, IMO. |

Agreed.
But maybe there's a reason for that.
I see a guy who is prone to drifting out of position and being puck focused.

The undeserved Frankie love from fans is unbearable.
Better than Polak? Hilarious.
I hope i'm wrong but I see an average ahler at best.
At least tonight he gets a chance.
We will see. - daws44

When the (frank) did you see this?
The guy hasn't played more than one damn game all season! You know who has sucked a lot at least one game this season?

Corrado was picked up off waivers and offers the team depth in the event of injury. His time has come to play a bottom pairing role.
Hope he plays well, but really there isn't much at this point to suggest he is much better than Hunwick or Polak. Each of those three players have +/- factors. When this team grows into a contender in the future we wont be talking about all three anymore. |

Last year, but its been all Leafs this year for myself. I got out to 7 Marlies games last year fun to watch, especially playoffs. |

I buy this. Sure.
Some reason we don't know that the staff sees and we don't. Fine
But let's not start to make assumptions about his play (good or bad) when he hasn't played enough to do so.
Give him a few games to see what he's all about or cut him loose. Sitting him every game is ridiculous when the defense is as bad as it is |

Yes. Last season.
They went to the trouble of re-signing him. If he was never gonna play, why would they do that?
The whole thing is (frank)ed. I think that probably skews my opinion of him too. I always root for the underdog and he's been getting the short end of the stick for over a year now |

I don't think that corrado is being held out of the lineup because of poor practise qualities. I think it's simply that the babs favors the vets polak and hunwick |
