Fedun and Falk are UFA's and wont be protected in no realm of possibility would Austin be protected by Murray over Bad gosian so I wouldn't even consider it. I get it. You're losing someone. Likely one of Carrier or Ennis but maybe Murray trades one of them too. I'd rather lose Carrier with the hope Vegas takes Bogosian or Gorges

The next expansion draft is gonna get ugly...with the need to protect the current youngsters (Eichel, Reinhart, Nylander) that are currently exempt, it'll be a bit tougher to decide things. Those 3 + O'Reilly and Okposo are 5 locks, leaving very little wiggle room for other "vital" players to be protected.

Of course...on a good team you roll with your 6/7 best forwards and realize you can easily replace any 1 forward below that group of players and not hurt too much. Thing is, some of our current other decent prospects will have to be exposed - Bailey, Baptiste, who knows what Fasching or Cornel may turn into, etc.
