This and redrafting is a bit silly as you have teams needs entering each draft that are not the same even a year later than they were at the time.

People can make the argument between Reinhart and Draisatl, but that is the only argument to make IMO for what they desperately needed at the time.

Does anyone think a lottery pick (1,2, or 3) would get you both Fowler and Lindholm? The Sabres really need D-men and probably not another Center if we landed a lottery pick in the 2017 draft.

I like where your head is at. Plus since we already spent the money to win now and we aren't winning now. Adding another very young but very talented guy, and then putting the spotlight and pressure on him to fix everything. That's what Edmonton did on repeat and why it didn't work.

Also... you can never have too many centers.. ROR can always play wing. plus whoever you draft you may want to start them at wing to slowly develop them

Liljegren was in the top 3 for a long time, but he dropped a lot. Don't know what happened, besides that he was injured for a while.

Edit: He was out with mono for two months. Sounds like someone else that kept dropping in the draft and we picked.
