Just thinking out of the box, perhaps dealing one of the plethora of young forwards (i.e.-Miller for example) for a dman is something to consider. These D look lost at times, all of them
- Slimtj100

its a must, this team will not go anywhere in the PO's without major upgrades on the blueline

im willing to part with Miller at the point if it makes sense

Can we all agree that Buch is going to be a superstar?

In fairness, with rookies, one might suck the big one for awhile and the other will be tearing it up, and then it will change the total opposite direction. We need way more of a sample size on both of these guys, especially since Danger is declaring Buchnevich the next Pavel Bure.

Yeah lets seem him play a little more than a couple games before he is a "superstar".

Vesey was the better player in camp.

agreed that Buch and Vesey for that matter are too small of sample size... but just looking at the two players i dont think its even debatable that Buchnevich is way more skilled and rounded. But hes got the leg up with playing in the K

OMG. I love that last slap by Leslie Nielson after the stewardess tells him they need him in the cockpit!!! One of my all-time favourite cinematic sequences.

I'd say Buchnevich is closer to Ovechkin than Bure.

Yeah, two different players. Buchnevich is the more skilled, creative offensive player. Vesey is the more north/south "Johnny on the spot" type that has a nose for the net. Both will have their struggles. Both will ultimately be good NHL players. But, I do agree that Buchnevich has the higher ceiling.

Vesey needs to get back to going to the net like he was a couple weeks ago. Im sure hes hitting a wall right now with this schedule. Hopefully he comes out of it soon

NY Rangers’ Chris Kreider fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for hitting Dallas’ Cody Eakin with his helmet during a fight.

If that is the going rate, I suggest that he beats more people with their own helmets.

Can we just be happy that the Rangers have these two players instead of arguing which is better?

That being said I think I want a Buchnevich jersey.

When I was in college, all of my Red Wing fan buddies would constantly argue who was better, Federov or Yzerman, and which ever side they were on they hated the other one. I always thought it was the dumbest thing ever.

Jesper Fast out with upper-body, Matt Puempel on ice today to likely take his spot. As expected, no Marc Staal on ice, either. #NYR
